About:

Australia's appetite for home-grown alt-country music has seen the emergence of LIGHTNING & RHINESTONES, the freshest addition to the music festival scene. Following a sold-out debut in Geelong, the festival is hitting the road and landing at the Palais-Hepburn on November 5th.

From 12pm to 8pm, lovers of Sunday sessions, cosmic country music, and the alt-country curious can expect a cracking day out at this iconic venue. FREYA JOSEPHINE HOLLICK, renowned for her captivating performances takes the spot as headline. Also on the bill is the unmissable cosmic cowboy BEN MASTWYK with HIS MILLIONS, and ARIA nominee GEORGIA STATE LINE. Renowned Australian singer-songwriter and double ARIA Award nominee DAN BRODIE and The SHADOWS OF LOVE, alongside Australia's emerging favourite son, PATRICK WILSON, contribute their incredible talents.

A raging success at the inaugural event, two-step dancing lessons will be back with the incomparable Emma Bee & Honky Tonk HQ, accompanied live by NO SLEEP TIL TEXAS.

The festival pairs its musical offerings with a market featuring bespoke artisan western wear and jewellery alongside mouthwatering selections from the Palais-Hepburn kitchen — think sticky ribs, southern fried chicken and burgers. The PH bar ensures a well-rounded experience, serving up beer, wine, and cocktails.

Mark your calendars for November 5th, 2023, as doors swing open at midday for a perfect way to spend a Sunday in the country.

Note: All performances are a combination of seated and standing format. Seating is limited and not guaranteed. If you have access requirements please advise at time of booking.
