About:

Ella Hooper was still a teenager when she burst onto the Australian music scene – Unearthed by Triple J when she was just 13, Ella scored her first number one with the single ‘Mascara’ on her 17th birthday. And at 18, she became the first woman to be awarded APRA’s Songwriter of the Year.

After releasing three hit albums with Killing Heidi, Ella embarked on a solo career. Her forthcoming album, Small Town Temple – written in her hometown of Violet Town – has been hailed as a new beginning, showcasing Ella’s deeply personal songwriting.

After a multitude of gold and platinum records and four ARIA Awards, Ella remains committed to her craft.

As she sings on Small Town Temple: “Still strong, still on a mission.”

About Van Walker:

Tassie's own Ramblin Van Walker ("One of the finest songwriters in the country." - Jeff Lang) is a prolific and celebrated songwriter in the genres of folk, country and rocknroll. A 'cult figure' in his adopted home of Victoria, with a vast catalogue of poetic lyric-driven material that explore a range of personal and social themes, his early solo work was compiled on the album Underneath the Radar 2008-2012 (Fuse music),  the rocknroll I Wish Life Could Be...Swedish Magazines (Rubber Records), and his latest solo album Ghosting (Green South Records) was the Rhthym readers runner-up album of 2o2o. He continues to tour consistently nationally and internationally, having just returned from Ireland and also Canada where his next solo album has been recorded, due out next year. Along with his work with The Ferriters, who have been described as "one of the best new acts on the Irish-Australian scene" - Koroit Irish Festival, and his own solo career, he continues to ever grow his loyal following and receive critical acclaim for his contributions to the industry.
