About: An evening of Indian classical music with Manish Pingle.

Manish Pingle is a virtuoso mohan veena (Indian slide guitar) player from Mumbai and began his tutelage under the late Shri Vishnu Waliwadekar. Manish is now one of the senior disciples of Ustad Shahid Paravez, the famous sitar maestro of Itawa gharana.

Manish will be playing a selection of traditional Indian ragas as well as some folk tunes accompanied by the Melbourne-based tabla player Ravi Madhawan.
